\r\nI love those two-foot square Post-it notes you can buy at office supply stores. They come in bright colors and I've adapted them to post up on my office walls. We use them to track contracts closed, income goals, social reach and web traffic. \r\nEvery year a friend and I get out of New York City and spend an entire weekend writing out our goals for the next 10 years, five years and one year in a shared folder in Google Drive. We break the one year goals down into quarterly, monthly, weekly and daily goals. Each Tuesday at 7 a.m., we hop on a call to share news of where we are at and to hold one another accountable. Every employee in the company is expected to list four quarterly goals (three professional, one personal) and an action they’ll take to achieve those goals. As its name would suggest, Clear is a simple yet elegant to-do list app. It's hard to put my finger on why I find it so useful, but I think it's because it's just as easy and intuitive as pen and paper -- just with more features, multiple lists and regular reminders. I take about one to two hours to plan my monthly goals then break down those goals into weekly objectives, then daily tasks and to-do's to meet those goals.
